Google Automated Discounts is a feature within Google Merchant Center that uses AI to dynamically adjust product prices in Shopping ads and on your website (within your boundaries), aiming to maximize gross profit. It analyses various market signals like product demand, price competitiveness, and seasonality to determine the optimal sale price. This helps retailers optimise pricing, potentially increasing conversions, clicks, and return on ad spend.
This is currently available on request to Shopify Plus stores and will be available for general release to all stores in the Shopify app store soon.
